Add an Option to Show Link Lines from Objects to Attached Objects
IWBNI it were possible to display link lines from all objects to all attached objects. This feature would simplify the task of identifying the note, measure or staff to which a given object is attached.
This could be implemented by adding a menu item called Redraw Screen with Links to the View menu. When this menu item is selected, link lines would be temporarily superimposed on the score to connect each object with the note, measure or staff to which it is attached. To remove these temporary link lines, one could select the menu item View>Redraw Screen or equivalently, press Ctrl+D to redraw the screen.
A menu item called Select Link Line Properties could be added to the View menu. This menu item would display a new dialog box called Select Link Line Properties that could contain the following controls:

For related features in other music notation programs, see the Attachment feature of the Sibelius program which when enabled, causes a link line to be displayed for a selected object. Also, there is a related feature in the Music Press program by Graphire.
