View Scale for Speedy Entry Editing Frame
IWBNI it were possible to specify the view percentage that is to be used for the speedy entry editing frame. As it is now, the speedy entry editing frame is displayed at a view percentage of 100%.
This could be implemented by adding the following controls to the Other Program Options dialog box:
--------------------------------------------
Speedy Entry Editing Frame View Percent:
( ) _____ %
( ) Use setting of Scale>Scale View to
-------------------------------------------
With these controls one could specify that the view percentage should be some fixed amount such as 80% or should always be equal to the current view percentage.
This feature would be useful, for example when using long bars (e.g. for cadenzas, unmeasured music, or an unmeasured white board on which to compose). Such long bars (e.g. 28/4) span the entire width of the screen in scroll view at a view percentage of 60%. In this case, the speedy entry editing frame runs off the right side of the screen. To use speedy edit, one must temporarily shrink the measure width.
