IWBNI there were some additional placement types in the Smart Shape Placement dialog box for Tab Slide to cover the following cases:

1. line to space increasing
2. line to space decreasing
3. space to line increasing
4. space to line decreasing

As it is now, existing placement types are used for these cases. However, the results are unsatisfactory. Especially for the case of an interval of a second.
