Prevent Lopsided Slurs

When a smart shape slur connects a pair of closely spaced notes that form a large melodic interval, often the slur reverses its horizontal direction on its approach to the second note of the pair. That is, the slur begins by heading to the left away from the first note of the pair. This also occurs frequently on slurs that are broken over systems. The resulting slurs look lopsided. It is difficult or impossible to manually edit such slurs to make them more attractive.

IWBNI lopsided slurs could be avoided automatically.

This could be implemented by doing the following:

1. Add a check box option to the Slur Contour dialog box called Never Reverse Horizontal Direction or (Horizontally Monotonic). Note: The term "monotonic" is derived from the idea of monotonic functions in mathematics.

2. To override the global setting, the context menu that is displayed when one right clicks a selected smart shape slur could contain an option called  Never Reverse Horizontal Direction or (Horizontally Monotonic) which is initially set to the global setting in the Slur Contour dialog box.
