IWBNI it were possible to make the thickness of a slur depend upon the length of the slur. Some feel that longer slurs look better if they are a bit thicker than short slurs.

As it is now, it is possible to set the thickness of all smart shape slurs by using the setting SmartShape>Smart Shape Options>Slur Thickness. This parameter could be moved to the Slur Contour dialog box, so that one could make Short Span slurs thin, Medium Span slurs medium thickness and Long Span slurs thick(er).

Also, IWBNI the resolution for slur thickness were increased to 1/64th EVPU (i.e. 1 EFIX) instead of 1 EVPU. The same may be said for other smart shape line settings in the Smart Shape Options dialog box.
