An Option to Override Global Key Signature Cancellation Option in a Measure
IWBNI there were an option that could be used to override the effect of the global option Cancel Outgoing Key Signature on the Document Options dialog box for a given measure.
This could be implemented by adding the following controls to the Measure Attributes dialog box:
----------------------------------------------
Measure Attributes Dialog Box
[ ] Cancel Outgoing Key Signature
[ ] Cancel Outgoing Key Signature in Cautionary Key Signature
----------------------------------------------
Like the checkboxes on the Staff Styles dialog box, these checkboxes would have three states: checked, unchecked and gray. By default, these checkboxes would be gray for a given measure to indicate that the global option Cancel Outgoing Key Signature on the Document Options dialog box determines whether or not outgoing key signatures are canceled in the measure. The option Cancel Outgoing Key Signature would be used to specify whether or not the outgoing key signature is to be canceled in the key signature at the beginning of the measure. The option Cancel Outgoing Key Signature in Cautionary Key Signature would be used to specify whether or not the outgoing key signature is to be canceled in the cautionary key signature at the end of the measure in the case when the measure is the last measure of a system.
