Change Cursor to Indicate that a Note-Attached Expression will be Created
IWBNI, in the case when the current tool is the expression tool and the mouse is placed at a given point in the score, the mouse cursor were automatically changed to indicate that a note-attached expression (as opposed to a measure-attached expression or no expression) would be created if the point were double-clicked or if the point were clicked while pressing a expression metatool key.
This could be implemented by changing the cursor to that which is used for the (smart shape) slur tool when the menu item SmartShape>Attach to Notes has been selected. This cursor, which is a cross with a quarter note in the first quadrant, would be used when the mouse is placed at a point where a note-attached expression would be created if the point were double-clicked or clicked while pressing a metatool key. Otherwise, if a measure-attached expression would be created or if no expression would be created, the cursor that is used in the current version of Finale would be used.
