IWBNI there were a button called Insert Symbol on the Text Expression Designer dialog box that could be used to select a symbol to be inserted into a given expression. The button would display the Symbol Selection dialog box. A selected symbol would be inserted into an expression in the same way that symbols are inserted into text blocks when using the menu item Symbol on the Text>Inserts submenu that is associated with the text tool.
