IWBNI on the MIDI split screen, it were possible to hide the display of MIDI velocities of all notes after the first note in a group of tied notes.

The MIDI velocities of the notes that follow the first note of a tied group of notes have no effect on playback. One might choose to hide this irrelevant information to simplify the display of MIDI velocities on the MIDI split screen.
